2. Pre-Upgrade Task
Create Directory to Capture Log
Take Optimizer Statistics
Check for Any Invalid Components or SYS Objects
Empty Recyclebin
Run Pre-Upgrade Script

3. Start Upgrade
Enable Flashback and Create Restore point.
Open Database in Upgrade Mode
Run Catupgrade script
Recompile Invalid Object
Check Database, Component and Object Status
Execute Post Upgrade Scripts

Make Cluster Parameter True and Start Database on all Node.
Gather Dictionary and Fixed object Stats
